My Name is Bill DUCHEK and I live in San Diego, CA,
To anyone there that may do some small research for me.
I have been researching an Edward William LEFEVER, born in Jun of 1879 in IN. I have traced him thru the 1920 census to Kansas. I have been told (without verification) the he died 14 Nov 1955 in Marlow, Stephens County, OK. His wife vanished as well - she was Kitty (Kate) date of death unk.
Before I send for the records I need to verify that the data is correct. I called the office of vital records in Oklahoma city but all they have are machines that can't answer questions. They did give me some the details on sending for the death information - cost, address - but I dislike waiting for several weeks to hear "no record."
I would appreciate any help that I can get. Thanx in advance for the effort.
