Many years ago there used to be a street car that ran between Tulsa and Sand Springs. Bruner station was one of the stations (stops) along the way.
Coming from Sand Springs toward Tulsa, the first station was Lake Station the second was Stockyards Station and the third was Bruner Station.
The street along the tracks was called Sand Springs Line, it is now called Charles Page Blvd.
