They and their family drew money in the payment made to the Emigrant Cherokees in 1852 and are on that roll.

I HAVE DRAWN IN ALL PAYMENTS MADE DURING LIFE EXCEPT THE OLD SETTLER PAYMENT OF 1893.

21. To expedite identification, claimant should give the full English and Indian names, if possible, of their

paternal and maternal ancestors back to 1835.

In my opinion the majority of these name appear on the census roll of 1835, but do not know for sure. This is the clearest statement I can give.

REMARKS

(Under this head the applicant may give additional information that he believes will assist in proving his claim).

Please observe that the name of these people appear on the Cherokee Emigrant pay roll of 1852. In Saline District, page 318, No. 642 Tsoo-wa-loo-ke No. 640, Sixkiller no. 655. Standing Crain no. 637. Sequoyah no. 651, Ned, no. 652, Ski-ar-too-kah. I mearly remember that these people are my aunts and uncles and that is about all.

Note: Answers should be brief but explicit: the words 'yes' , 'no', and 'unknown' may be used in cases where applicable. Read the questions carefully.

Ellis Sr. and Susan Trottingwolfe, who being duly sworn, on oath depose and say that they are well acquainted with Lizzie Jackson, who makes the foregoing application and statements, and have known her for 5 years and 5 years, respectively, and know her to be the identical person she represents herself to be, and that the statements made by her are true, to the best of their knowledge and belief, and they have no interest whatever in her claim.
