Trying to verify some information that I have come across over the years but
have never been able to adequately document.

The Gassaway family moved to the area of Berkeley/Jefferson Co around
1770-1780. I believe that Thomas Gassaway (B: ca.1724) in Anne Arundel Co.,
MD came with his three children or followed one of them shortly after they
came. The three children as I have them are:

Thomas Gassaway B:1754 in Anne Arundel, Co., MD
John Gassaway B: 1759 in Anne Arundel Co., MD
Hannah Gassaway B: ca.1760 in Anne Arundel Co., MD

Son Thomas fought in the Revolutionary War and Married a Jane Kelley. I
have recently uncovered information that lists their children as:

John Gassaway b: ca.1780 in Berkeley Co.
William Gassaway b: ca.1783 in Berkeley Co.
Martha Gassaway b: ca. 1788 in VA
Nicholas Gassaway b:24 Nov 1793
Mary Gassaway b: ca. 1794 in VA
Andrew Gassaway b: ca. 1795 in VA
Thomas Gassaway b: 31 March 1801 in Berkeley Co., VA

I know that at least two of these boys (John and Nicholas) moved to Ross
Co., OH around 1810.

Is anyone working on this family or can anyone verify any of the children's
information?
