Hi Helen - I am also curious about your James BARR of Frederick Co.

I'm trying to identify a John BARR of Frederick who d. prior to 1823.
His orphaned daughter, Sarah (or Sally) m. Thornton Washington HAINES 1
Sep 1823, Frederick Co.

Could James have had a father or brother John?

The only other clue I have is that she was a ward of a Peter Royston at
time of marriage.

Any insight?
