Found the following Robinsons indexed in History of Hapmshire County, West
Virginia: From Its Earliest Settlement to the Present, by Maxwell and
Swisher, pub. 1897. My Robinson line may trace back to Hampshire Co.
Please contact me if you recognize any of these Robinsons.

JOB ROBINSON of Calhoun listed as a delegate to a convention that
congregated in Wheeling, VA, November 26, 1861, to form the new state of
West Virginia.

JOHN A. ROBINSON is listed as a delegate to a constitutional convention
elected to redraft the a new constitution (replacing the 1863 constitution
of the state of WV). This election was held in August of 1871 and the
convention met in Charleston in 1872 and completed their work in less than
three months.

JOHN ROBINSON and R. T. ROBINSON are listed in Company C, 18th Virginia
Cavalry, confederate, organized by Captain Mathew Ginevan. Most of the men
in this Company were from Levels and Little Capon.

SARAH J. ROBINSON is listed as the daughter of MOSES and ELIZABETH ROBINSON.
She married 1860 GEORGE SAVILLE, farmer of Gore, son of OLIVER and MARY
SAVILLE of German descent; Children, J.J., J.D., W.T.L., and G.L. SAVILLE.

Again, please get in touch if you recognize any of these individuals. I
would like to compare work.

Thanks,
Chris
