Hi Cassie,
Thank you so very much for checking. I certainly appreciate your
taking time and trying to find records of the MOLER family, who traveled and
intermarried with the Cyrus H. FRANCIS family and the George WILLIAMS [Father
of Harriet WILLIAMS, wife of Cyrus H. FRANCIS) family. They all moved to
Missouri from Ohio, and later from Missouri to Kansas. I have a record that
George WILLIAMS served on the Grand Jury in Harrison Co., MO Oct 1846. Cyrus
H. FRANCIS and family moved to Harrison Co., MO abt 1856, and William C.
MOLER and family are in the U. S. Census with residence in Harrison Co., MO
about 20 Nov 1850. All of these families were around Bethany or Dist. 27 in
Harrison Co., MO.
I would like very much to locate records of abt 1869 of the Pleasant
Grove Church (Union Baptist) in this area. My reference is below, and will
explain the reason I would like to have these records.
Provided by Charla Edmiston Manica. "A very old ledger book which is
the original record of the beginning of the Pleasant Grove Church (Union
Baptist) in December 1869 is in the possession of a descendant of Samuel and
Jane Edmiston who moved to Harrison County in 1843. Names of members.
Pleasant Grove Church Book, Bought at Bethany MO, December 23, 1869, Price 80
cents. Printout is in possession of DJSB. Member 44. Victoria FRANCIS.
Member 72 _____ WILLIAMS, 85. Margret FRANCIS, 101. _____ FRANCIS, and
102. _____ FRANCIS."
Thanks again. I believe, if I could locate some of these records,
there would also be records of others' ancestors who lived in the Bethany
area of Harrison Co., MO during this time.

Dorothy
