I agree. I am from Phoenix, AZ and my ancestors are from MO. I found
information in the beautiful Springfield, MO Library Center, the Jefferson City
Archives, and the Columbia,MO Newspapers. A young man at the History Center in
Jefferson City was extremely helpful. I regret that I didn't get his name to
write a thank you and commend him to his supervisor. He found information on a
microfilm that I found illegible. He printed it for me and this information
is priceless to me. Genealogists have not agreed on the information, and now I
have it in black and white, thanks to that young man.
