Hi Dana,

Is there any more on the mail coach robbery? My gg-grma lived in Independence at that time. The family name was CASE. Mother Sarah Ellen, dau also Sarah Ellen, & son Perry. About that time Mother Sarah married a WYATT, & they had dau Mary. If you run across any of those names I would be most interested. I would pay you to copy the newspaper & send it to me.

Thanks so much.

FALL OF A PRISON - ROBBERY BY GUERILLAS.

Kansas City, Aug. 15., - The female prison in this fell in on Tuesday morning, burying in the ruins eleven women. Four were killed, one mortally wounded, and six slightly.
The mail coach and passengers were robbed this morning by guerillas near Big Blue River, between here and Independence.
