STUDENTS IN CHRISTMAS PLAY.

Students of Central High School gave a Christmas play at the
new building last night. In the title role of "A Bachelor's Romance,"
which is a Yuletide drama in spirit if not in setting and plot, Samuel
BORNSTEIN voiced a sentiment like Tiny Tim's when in the
bachelor's closing speech he said, "I am a happy man; God bless
you all."

Miss Emma McCUNE played the orphan ward of the bachelor.
Miss Virginia SPRINGER the effusively querulous spinster. Other
members of the cast were: Harold ROBERTS, B. Howard SMITH,
Leonard THOMAS, Herbert BLIEL, Stewart VENN, Miss Irene
BOYER and Miss Helen ROGERS.
