I have to UNSUBSCRIBE for awhile and when I come back it will
probably be
with a different address. I have enjoyed this LIST very much and
learned a
lot from all of you, especially SUE and HAROLD. I've saved lots
of the
posts.

Before I leave: A few weeks ago I posted but never saw it. I
must have
done something wrong. I said that my 103 year old mother wanted
to ask if
anyone ever heard of or made "cush". Her family in Texas had it
lots of
nights for supper, but she doesn't remember exactly how it was
made. As
she remembers (and her memory is quite sharp) it was made with
cold
biscuits broken into a skillet where pork had been fried and
water or broth
poured over. If anyone knows, please answer at
