Hello Listers,

My paternal ggrandfather was John Thomas born 1831 in Brock Twp, Port
Perry, Ontario. His father was George Thomas born in Wales and his
mother was Christine Horton born in Dublin.

John married Mary Friend.

They are listed in the April 15, 1881 Canadian Census, Ontario, C 13244,

131 Muskoka, McMurrick and Stisted Twp, pg 33, line 13
And in the 1891 Canadian Census, Ontario, T-6355, 95 Parry Sound and
Muskoka, Stisted and McMurrick Twp., pages not in order - between 15 and

16.

They came to the Dauphin area of Manitoba in about 1898. He died in 1914

and she died in 1922, both died and are buried in Dauphin, MB.

I only recently received their death certificates so have not researched

their parents yet.

Can anyone make a connection?
