I don't have this particular book, although I do have some of the series.

According to Beldon's 1878 Map Transcriptions, Samuel NUGENT owned
Lot 24 in Conc., 13 of Manvers Twp. In Tremaine's 1861 Map, there was
a Robert NUGENT who owned Lot 24 in Conc., 13 of Manvers Twp.
Looks to me as though this could have been the father.

The Durham County Marriage Registers 1858 - 1869, shows 4 NUGENT
marriages:

Charles James NUGENT
Mary NUGENT
Rosannah NUGENT
William NUGENT

The Northumberland & Durham Counties Surrogate Court Index, shows:

William NUGENT, the elder of Millbrook - #2181 for1886

There are 9 NUGENT listings in the Durham County Newspaper Index.
