Hello Charlotte:-

I am pleased you asked this question -- I could not answer the others, so cut
these off your memo.

The 1911 Census will be available AFTER Senator Lorna Milne and hopefully,
Murray Calder, MP, re-present the Private Member's Bills they presented in
2000. Remember, there was an election called, all except government bills
were "dumped" (for want of a better word, including paperwork).

Senator Milne had had the Second Reading, her Bill was in Committee -- we
were looking forward to the Third Reading and Vote on the Bill. The Prime
Minister stopped all this when the election was called.

However, not all was lost -- Gordon Watts, Bryan Keddy and I salvaged a great
deal -- we could use help from all those wanting this census available.

All census sites will be bilingual -- we are receiving petitions from Quebec,
which
never happened before. We need LETTERS written to YOUR Member of Parliament
-- you will receive the answer that your letter has been given to The Hon. Brian

Tobin, the one who is now Minister of Industry <>

Go to http://globalgenealogy.com/census >>>>> many sites there

[This will show readers how the respective Members of Parliament feel]
If your Member of Parliament has a gold tick -- thank him!!!
http://globalgenealogy.com/census/petition.htm

At the last address, it will be like going to a restaurant -- you will be able
to
download Adobe Acrobat (if you do not have it), plus BOTH Senate and
House of Commons petitions -- a person may sign both -- do not worry
about addresses -- just send to me and I will forward, sorry about postage.

Letters to Members of Parliament do not need any postage -- best deal yet!

Back to your question re 1911 Census --
When the last vote is counted -- and we hope the YES votes will predominate.
