I just purchased the 1881 Canadian census on CD-ROM from the LDS website. I
already have the 1881 British census on CD-ROM, which came with Viewer 2.0.
The Canadian census comes with Viewer 4.0, so I installed it accordingly, &
it worked. The census installed correctly as well. But when I tried to
actually view a census CD, I get "Viewer Error Run Time 7, Out of Memory"
everytime. Why is this?? I've uninstalled & reinstalled 3 times & it makes
no difference, & I have more than enough memory--192 MB of RAM & more than 3
GB free on my hard disk. I use Windows XP Professional but there is no
indication anywhere that this is incompatible with Viewer 4.0.
Not only can I not view my brand new census CDs, I now can't view my 1881
British census CDs either!!
Has anyone else encountered this problem?
