Hi!

Just a quick note to clarify one thing. The Whitby Public Library
does not have microfilm of the Canadian Statesman, only Whitby papers.
(and the Newcastle newspaper index) I believe that the Bowmanville
Library does have the local microfilm. The index to the Newcastle area
newspapers begins in the early 1870's, if I remember correctly.
