Subject: Re: [ONEALL-L] William A. O'Neil
Hello!
I don't have a William O'Neil, but I am very interested in O'Neil's in
the NY area, especially Ogdensburg. The people we are searching for
are probably 1-2 generations out, but hey what's a 100 years or so?
In this business any link will do!
My ggrandfather (John Henry O'Neill) was born in the US (probably NY)
in 1863 and brought into Canada as an infant. When he was older and
married they lived in Brockville, Ontario and he crossed over into the
US by ferry to work. Family says he worked on the Ogdensburg railway
line for a while and some others in the southern US. I know he had
family in NY, and cousins who performed in Vaudeville. My grandmother
did some of her nursing training in NY and her younger sister married
and moved to NY. I am looking for LINDBLOM connections there as well.
If you do find anything could you please keep me in mind and pass on
the info? My ggrandfather may be related to yours somehow too.....
Sharon
