Listers,
I have offered to do lookups in Leavitt's "History of Leeds and Grenville Ontario
from 1749 to 1879". I really hesitated to make this offer, because I was afraid
that the requests would be more than I could handle in a reasonable amount of
time.
Well, the response has been heavy. I promise I will get to all of your requests,
but it is going to take some time. I have two children (Mackenzie (10) and Jack
(7)) and I am very involved in their lives. In addition, I coach many youth
sports teams throughout the year and serve on the Board of our local soccer club.
Oh yes, I am very involved with my wife, Kathy, as well. As for me, I am addicted
to reading fiction. This does not leave much time for genealogical work. I often
work on genealogy rather than sleep - this is not a long-term solution. I almost
forgot, to pay the bills, I work at Ford Motor Company.
That being said, I really do want to give back to the genealogical community,
especially in the Leeds, Grenville, and Dundas areas. So, please be patient and I
hope that I can help some of you.
Thank you for your consideration.
