Amasa is Hebrew for burden bearer - a patriarch who shared the troubles and
misfortunes of others - Amasa Walker - American Political Economist - 1799 -
1875

Perhaps someone else's baby name book will show the Aljo and Alje names -
the one I have doesn't - sorry. Patti
