Hi Mary Anne
Brockville is the home of the Leeds and Grenville Branch OGS library.
It is at the Brockville Museum at 5 Henry St. and has census for all of L &
G from 1851 to 1901 on micro film and a number of these have been copied and
are in print. We also have all the old land books for the county. Many
genealogies and books on the area are also available.
We have over 100 publication of cemeteries and census recording for sale.
There is a $2.00 Research fee to be paid at the front desk of the museum
which is good for one full year.
The library is open and staffed by volunteers Monday to Friday afternoons
from 1 to 4 and after the long weekend in May it will be open seven days
until Thanksgiving weekend.
Hope this helps
Lorna Johnston for Leeds and Grenville Branch OGS
