Hi Joe,

On P. 123 Edna Chant mentions that it has been impossible to mention
everyone who was prominent in Farmersville/Athens life, but she listed the
death dates of quite a few who had not had separate stories or mentions
previously. In this list is your Robert J. Shaw which gives 1938 as his
year of death, as you mentioned.

Am sure you already have them in the 1881 census for the Thomas Shaw family
in Leeds Front, with your Robert Joseph Shaw still at home, along with
Thomas Shaw Jr. According to the 1871 census index the Thomas Shaw family
was in the Front of Leeds & Lansdowne Twp. And my index for early census
records for the Front of Leeds & Lansdowne shows Thomas Shaw there as early
as 1839 (he and a wife only) and up thru 1848 when he had 7 in the
household.

Sandy
