Hi Bill,

Long time no hear! In the BMD newspaper transcriptions for Brockville
papers from 1830-1849 there is an entry for the issue of 2 OCT 1845 which
says: D "In Elizabethtown after a residence of 55 years in Canada Ruth
Judson, relict of the late Silas Judson aged 99 years, 6 mon. & 9 days. She
was mother of 4 children, grandmother of 37 and great grandmother of 125, 16
of the 5th generation."

The 1851 census index for Elizabethtown has a Harvey Judson family--he's 45;
a Fairman Judson family--he's 33; a Ratheal Judson family--he's 68 and born
U.S. I don't see any Judson's in 1851 in Bastard or Kitley. Ratheal
Judson's family has 2 Brown's living with them.

By the same token, Benjamin Brown's family has a J.A. Judson living with
them--age 18.

A Silas Judson family and a Samuel Judson family are in Elizabethtown as
early as 1796. In 1801 there are 2 Silas' families--the one you mention
with Silas, Ruth, Sam'l and Abigail. And a "Silus" Judson with wife Ruth
and a son Ratheal.
