the 1901 Census site is excellent. I have used it. I'm not sure of Robert's actual birth date. The 1881 British Census shows him to be five years younger. Between 1881 and 1901 he added 5 years to his age. Fitzwilliam(William)'s age is consistent. Since both boys were born in France FreeBMD and 1837Online have no records of their births. I am trying to convince my on her March vivit to our Daughter in Leytonstone to visit the the Family Records Centre in Islington to check consular births something I neglected to do this past summer
