The McEwens who made it to the Ottawa area (N. Gower and environs) are mostly buried, I think, in the old Presbyterian Cemetery in Kars or the newer Rideauvale one there too; excellent listings available for both cemeteries. Then, a year ago I disovered McEwen graves in Dwyers Cemetery 9th Line—my directions to myself for future reference were "go to Ashton, then go to 9th Line--cemetery is in Beckwith Twp"! I didn't have time to explore that day, and haven't been back—yet.
