Sally, Thank You for Posting the location of the Arnolds letters. I have been researching my families connection with Richard Arnold for years and never knew whwere to look for such a enlightening collection. My 3rd Great Grandfather -Leonard Clinton Lewis was Indentured to Richard Arnold at age 5 -by his mother Catherina Lewis in Leeds Co., Ont. They where originally from Rhinebeck New York- (across from West Point) and I don't have all the pieces let to the interaction of the Lewis Family with the Arnolds -Benedict and Lernards' Grandfather Francis C. Lewis - New york Signer of The Declaration of Independence. There is a great mystery here and bit and pieces light these letters are finally coming to the surface. Thanks again for your posting.
