Have you heard of a family history called "The Berry-Barry Patch"?
I feel there is a good chance this is the family to which your Susan, her daughter, Mary Patrick, and grandson Michael Burk may belong.
This Irish Berry family were parented by Matthew (1756 Armagh?, Ireland-1832 Elizabethtown Twp. Leeds) & Jane Berry (1769 Co. Down-1867 Elizabethtown Twp, Leeds). Their son, John Berry, was married to Sarah Boulton/Bolton. It was your reference to John & Sarah that made me take note of your query.
This is a sideline to my Crozier research and I am not clear exactly how your Susan is connected but, maybe somebody reading this on the Grenville-Leeds Message Board will. Also, someone may have a copy of the book "The Berry-Barry Patch" and do a look-up for you. Matthew Jr. moved into Bytown, did well, and changed his surname from "Berry" to "Barry."
John's brother, James Berry, married Ann Crozier 1 April 1835 and John's sister, Sarah Berry, married Henry White and their daughter Charlotte White married Ann Crozier Berry's nephew, Joseph Crozier, in 1860! Feel free to contact me if you think I can help any further.
