I am coming late to this thread. I have found several names that possibly fit within my family.

John Horton, born in Wexford, Ireland in 1773, married to Margaret Reid - my 3g grandmother was Mary Reid, born abt 1774 in County Wexford. She came to Ontario with her husband Robert Taylor and their family, settling in Lansdowne about 1821. Her first daughter was Martha.

Could she be a sister or Martha Reid?

descendants of John and Ann Maude - lphorton has John and Ann Maude as ancestors. My Morris family line, also from Wexford/Carlow area, also had Maudes who married into the Tyndall family in their ancestry according to family lore. The Morrises immigrated to Bastard Twp about 1820-1824.

I would be interested in knowing more about the Maudes to determine if my Morrises were descended from this line.
