Hi, This is my 3rd time to try to send this info. I keep hitting the wrong button when I get to the end:(

If you go to Kearney Public Library website and on the left hand column click on reference you will see Historical newspapers. click on that and then click on advanced search and put in a surname. You can then search the Kearney Daily Hub.; ; Kearney, Nebraska or http://cityofkearney.org/index.aspx?NID=542

Here are some of the enters for Cowdrey's and McLellan's. You may want to also check for other surnames.

Death of William McClellan.
William H. McClellan died at his home in this city on Monday evening at eight o'clock after a month's illness from paralysis , death resulting directly from cerebreal hemonbage. Mr MCclellan was seventy years of age and an old soldier and has a host of friends in Kearney and Buffalo county. The funeral will be held from the United Bretheran church on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Reev. SM. Aike officaiating. All old soldiers are requested to be at the hall at one o'clock and attend the funeral in a body.
