On the Kearney Public Library site (Nebraska), just go to "Advanced search" and put in "Cowdry" and hit go. Then go to the upper right hand heading and click on "7". When that screen comes up, the third entry on the page with be "29 Feb 1904"; "Elm Creek". Click on "article" (It sometimes takes awhile to come up. Let me know if you find it.
Some of my relatives married into the Braggs family.
