BIRTHS

On the 30th ult., at Malton, the wife of Mr Edward JOHNSON, of a son.
On the 25th ult., at Norton, the wife of Mr Wm. NELSON, schoolmaster, of a
daughter.
On the 26th ult., at Malton, the wife of Mr Thos. JACKSON, of a daughter.

MARRIAGES

On the 25th ult., at the Register Office, Malton, Mr James BRADLEY, butcher,
to Miss C. LONGSTER, both of Malton.
On the 20th ult., at Gilling, by the Rev. Mr HICKS, Mr Mark PLOWMAN, joiner
and cabinet-maker, to Annie, youngest daughter of Mr R. HARKER, farmer, all
of Gilling.
On the 21st inst., at Warter, near Pocklington, by the Rev. S. WILSON, Mr
Wm. BYASS, North Dalton, to Sarah Ann, second daughter of Mr Richard
HARRISON, Warter.

DEATHS

On the 25th ult., at Swinton, Mary, the wife of Mr Wm. SMITH, aged 83.
On the 24th ult., at Norton, Wardell, the son of Mr Benj. NORMANTON, aged 5
months.
On the 28th ult., at the Workhouse, Malton, George ARRAN, aged 55.
On the 25th inst., at his residence in Scarbro', Thomas WEDDELL, Esq.,
F.R.C.S., Eng., aged 70.
On the 23rd Oct., at Burythorpe, Mr John HUDSON, grocer, aged 46, much and
deservedley respected.
On the 25th ult., at Leavening, Mr John SOWERSBY, schoolmaster, aged 57.
On the 25th Oct., at Scampston, Richard TOPHAM, Esq., aged 29.
On the 4th ult., at Toronto, Upper Canada, Ann, the beloved wife of Mr James
BAXTER, and daughter of the late Mr W. WATSON, joiner, &c., Newton, near
Pickering, aged 63.
On the 30th ult., at Malton, Mrs JACKSON, aged 81?.
