>Angie,
I have the following Snell/Schnell family sheets sent
to me by someone years ago. I think that I can almost
vouch for the authenticity of the data by knowing that the
person who sent them to me is a fanatic for having his
data backed up.
Gose Henry Schnell b. abt 1681, Germany
md Barbara Schnell b. 1683
Both died O'berg
Children:
(1) Elias Schnell b.1719, Germany
md 1st Anne Barbara Meyer b. ,Germany on 26 Jan 1738
(2) Hans Adam Snell b. abt 1722, Germany
Margaretta Utsey b.1731, d.15 Mar 1759
md on 24 Feb 1746 Germany
Adam d. O'Berg, Margaretta d.15 Mar 1759 O'Berg
Children:
(1) Catherine M Snell b.14 Apr 1747
md George Hartzog
(2) Elizabeth Snell b.10 Mar 1749 O'Berg
(3) Johannes Snell b.28 Mar 1752 O'Berg
(4) Johann Snell b......O'Berg
(5) Magdaline Snell b.10 Feb 1757 O'Berg
(6) Jacob Snell b.21 Sept 1759 O"Berg
Having researched many German families I know that most
male children named a son after their father. I would
suspect that Johannes, Johann and Jacob had a son named
Adam Snell.
I looked through all Newsletters since Vol 6 No 8 and I
also see no continuation.
