Might this be Anna Margaretta Utzen? What are the dates for Miss Yootzy?
Anna Margaret Utzen is the relation of Diedrich Utz. Utzen is the feminized
form of Utz, which is now the huge Ouzts clan in the Edgefiled area. They
first settled near Newberry, then traded land with the Flick family and moved
to Edgefield. She is assumed to be Diedrich's sister, mother, or close
relative due to their passage together to America. She was also on the
Britannia, arriving in Charleston SC on October 5, 1766. After her land grant
in the Newberry area, she is essentially 'lost; to the Ouzts family. [My
husband descends from 4 of Diedrich Utz's grandchildren.]
Ok, I AM chomping at the bit on this!!
