worksis taken fromOld Norse inscriptions fromthe prehistoric monument
Maeshowe, Orkney. The program notes are by stephen Pruslin in English with
texts in English and Orkney Runes.Orchestra with vocals and is performed by
the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra
