Looking for information on Robert Shields of York Co,S.C.

Alexander Barron Sr 1750-1816 lived in York Co,S.C. before going to Pendleton Co,S.C. where he lived next to George Shields in Pendleton in 1800. Alexander Barron Sr. and George Shields later moved to Giles Co,TN.

The son of Alexander Barron's sister,Samuel Stephenson,b.1796 in York Co,S.C. married Mary Shields in Giles Co,TN before 1820.

Many of the old documents in Giles Co,TN were destroyed, but one exists describing the sale of land of George Shields and Alexander Barron Sr. to Alexander Barron Jr. Robert Stephenson,a brother of Samuel Stephenson was a witness to the sale in 1814.
