I have for some time been of the opinion that the ancestry of Daniel O'REAR
(m. Susan GOOCH) was thus:

........John O'REAR (b. ca 1728, d. 1810)
............Daniel O'REAR (b. ca 1758, d. 1858) m. Susan GOOCH

............Josiah O'REAR
............John O'REAR (b. bef 1775, d. bef 1850) m. Susan (-?-)
............Benjamin O'REAR (b. 1777, d. ca 1803) m. Miriam LLOYD
............William S. O'REAR (b. 1777, d. 1849) m. (1) Esther KELLY

This is also how Ed. C. O'REAR II has it. However, I believe that Ed may
have had Daniel (m. Susan GOOCH) in a different family at first and then
changed to that shown above. I hope to talk with Ed about this, but it may
be some time before I can.

Based on the information shown in Daniel's pension file, I think the correct
family and ancestry should be like this:
