Well Dennis, I must say that is a most unusual story! Rarely (if ever)
have I seen the name O'Rear connected with anything like this. There
appears to be an almost total lack of scandal in the family (otherwise
the sketches would be a lot thicker!).

One possible exception would be the Renos. If someone can prove that
Malinda Maddon Reno (who married John O'Rear) was a dau of Francis Reno,
then I think we would be related to the Reno brothers, who hold the
dubious distinction of being America's first train robbers (a
distinction often wrongly attributed to Frank and Jesse James).
