Marion Lee O'Rear

Marion Lee O'Rear, 66, of Jasper died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at Walker
Baptist Medical Center. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9,
1999, at Samaria Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Rick Sherer and Charles Wynn will officiate. Visitation will be from 6
until 9 tonight. The body will be at the church one hour before the
service. Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randall William O'Rear.

He is survived by his wife, Alene W. O'Rear of Jasper; daughter,
Jennifer Sanford of North Carolina; three sons, Ronald Lee O'Rear of
Carbon Hill, Marion Rodney O'Rear of Jasper and Bill Franklin of Dora;
four sisters, Clara Wynn of Lanett and Esther Akins, Helen Bragg and
Martha Hutto, all of Jasper; five brothers, John O'Rear of Ferndale,
Mich., Clyde O'Rear, Charles O'Rear, Newton O'Rear and Tommy O'Rear, all
of Jasper; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John O'Rear Jr., Clyde O'Rear, Charles O'Rear,
Newton O'Rear, Tommy O'Rear and Larry Bragg.

Honorary pallbearers will be Todd O'Rear, Shane O'Rear, Charles O'Rear
Jr., James O'Rear, Mickey O'Rear, Mark Hutto, John Victor O'Rear, Dusty
O'Rear, Larry Bragg Jr. and John Keith Akins.
