All I have here is a transcription of that court record. What I have
indicates 'Lacy' but I can't be sure that it wasn't a misreading. Was your
son able to get a photocopy of the court record? Since this is what the
court clerk (?) recorded, compare the writing of Lacy and the clerk's (or
court's) signature title. If both end in 'ry' they should be the same and
not the same if the name is 'Lacy'.

Wonder what connection Lacy/Lary had with the family (other than as
guardian)?
