Nor have I. But there are four entries in Ancestry's showing Fields
& Elizabeth as having a son named Samuel as the oldest child (b.
1830). Only one shows this Samuel as having children (wife = Judia,
children = Houston, Edwin, Sarah, and Catherine). I suspect one
got the data (incorrectly?) and the other three got it from that
person. I am writing to those persons hoping that they will tell me
the source of their statements.

Have you ever heard of the marriage between Fields and Judia (Julia?)?
