Any information available on an 1851 arriving family:
Elijah WILLIAMS and wife
Lucia Loraine (BIGELOW) WILLIAMS
They made the 1851 census in Findlay, Hancock co., Ohio and arrived here in Oregon in the fall of 1851...Elijah was an attorney who practiced in Salem, OR
They had children:
1. Richard Williams(who was one of Oregon's first Attorneys) b. 1837
2. George Williams ("Major" George, lost foot in civil war) b. 1838
3. John Williams b. 1840
4. Helen Loraine Williams b. 1848
And, after arrival in Oregon was:
5. Emmett Bigelow Williams who was also an attorney.
