I have at the moment, via interlibrary loan, the index to the manuscript
collection at UC Berkeley's Bancroft Library. There are many documents
regarding people and families of Oregon. I was going to post simply that
information and suggest that Listers search for surnames in their online
collection. A moment ago I was not getting hits on names that ARE in the
collection. I will post the names a few at a time. If someone finds the
online works or for some other reason wants to call a halt to it, by all
means do. I won't be offended. -- Kim
