Subject: Early settlers of the Tillamook area

Hello list,
I am looking for information on a couple of families that were early
residents of the Tillamook / Trask area. If anyone knows of any books,
museums, libraries, etc that might have articles, stories or photos of any of
these families, please let me know.

KRAKE family - 1910 to ? The head of this family was Elldee (L.D.?) KRAKE and
his wife, Ella Sophia (Wilkes) KRAKE. They are both buried in an old pioneer
cemetery in Tillamook County - Elldee died 05 Oct 1930; and Ella died 23 Oct
1930. Their children: Louis Henry KRAKE married Sarah Eugenia GRAY in
Tillamook County, 1911; David William KRAKE m. Agnis Meifert; Albert Franklin
KRAKE m. Pauline Meifert; Elledee A. KRAKE m. Mary Ann Keene; John Glenn
KRAKE m. Mabel Adams; Ray Ernest KRAKE m. Mae Ellis; Ira Lee KRAKE m. Myrtle
Nash; and Nettie Lucilla KRAKE m. Elmer Dougherty. The majority of these
family members died in Tillamook County, Oregon.
EARL family - Miles Wellington EARL worked in many occupations in various
parts of Oregon. He was a carpenter, photographer, and owned a Floral shop.
He was living in McMinnville, Oregon in 1912-13 and worked as a building
contractor; in 1900 he was living in Multnomah County with his first wife,
Kate Sarah (Collison) EARL and their children.; he married (2) Hattie Fish
OPPEN in Yamhill Co. 1907 - 1912; Miles owned "Earl's Floral Gardens" in
Tillamook in 1930;s or 1940's; He was baptized in the Seventh-Day Adventist
Church in Tillamook, Oregon 27 Nov 1043. Miles died 08 April 1944 in
Tillamook, Oregon and is buried in the IOOF cemetery.
Thanks for any help or suggestions on finding printed info or photos of any
of these families.
