After a rousing response the previous week, guessing last week's mystery photo proved to be a stumper for our historic sleuths. Only a pair of guesses were received, neither of which was correct.
The Historical Society lists it as the Maier and Benton (Schanno) general merchandise and hardware store, which was located at 309 East Second Street (The Dalles), opposite A.M. Williams.
