Thank you for responding to my query.

Can you tell me where the Oregon Death Index, 1903-98, can be viewed?
Can I order it on a film or microfiche? (If so, from what office?)
Or do I have to go to a specific library to view it?
Will the State Health Dept allow me to view it personally?

Is Thomas F. Gold a person who compiled the OR Death Index?

Where is Portland County?

I don't understand why you wrote "Death Date, March 11, 1942." I don't
know of anyone who died then. Is that when Mr. Gold died? Can you
please explain?
