Thank you for your consideration for us researchers! My gr-gr-gr-gr-grandparents arrived in Oregon in Sept. 24, 1853, via the Oregon Trail. Their names were Thomas L.and Anna Maupin, Boyd Maupin, (his wife Mandy died after childbirth on the Oregon Trail), Lewis (Louis) and Nancy Maupin,Lindsay Maupin, Enoch Maupin, Thomas Lemuel Maupin, Jr., Mary Maupin, Nancy Ann, Cynthia Maupin . These are the ones that I know for sure. The Clare family (Billy Clare) could have been in the same wagon train.
Are any of these names in your books?
Thank you,
Michelle L. Tambellini
