Please check to see if you put the Illinois Interest Group on your calendar for this coming Saturday...9:30-11:30 a.m....at the Higgins Room, GFO Library, in Portland.

The topic will be "Research Opportunities Using Email Lists and County Mailing Lists" with Kristy and Doreen. (Yes, really...both of us!)

There is an amazing amount of information out there -- just waiting for someone who wants to know it. We'll talk about where to look, what kinds of info you might find, and some of the 'tricks of the trade' that will help you reach the right person and discover wondrous information.

If you have had successes in the field, be prepared to toss your story into the discussion group. If you've tried some without luck, we'll try to give some suggestions to improve your success rate.
