Join us this coming 2:00 pm Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the Genealogical
Forum of Oregon library, 1505 SE Gideon St., Portland, Oregon for the
presentation by Roger Ostrom on learning about conservation of paper-based
materials and books.

You will learn how to handle and store materials, and mending and
restoration techniques. Roger has a great background in these skills and he
is graciously sharing with us.

"Faded, Torn, Brittle: Problems with paper-based materials--the
genealogist's nightmare--and strategies for dealing with them," will help
all of us take care of our treasures.
