Subject: Census Search at Ancestry

I have just verified something I thought had happened before. When I did
a search for Charles Bone 1920 census at Ancestry, I came up with 87
items. I found one born ca 1866 Illinois who was listed as Charles R.
Bone. I wanted Charles H. Bone.
HOWEVER, when I did searches for Charles Bone born Illinois or age 63,
Charles R Bone did NOT COME UP. It also does not come up when I searched
for Charles R. Bone, born Illinois or age 63.
Apparently when you search with an ago or birth location, given names
with middle name initials are for some reason ignored!
Something to keep in mind. A bit of a frustration.
