Dear JGS Oregon Friends,

Free Internet genealogy classes will be held at the LDS Family History
Center in Wilsonville, beginning in February. Here is the essential

Here is the schedule for the free internet genealogy classes to be held by
the Wilsonville Family History Center in the upcoming months. All classes
are on the first Tuesday evening of the month and start at 7:00PM at the LDS
church at 29350 S.W. Town Center Loop East, Wilsonville.

Tues Feb 6th, 2007: Making the most out of message boards {discovering new
relatives online}. New guidelines for posting messages at Ancestry.com and

Tues March 6th, 2007: Finding your family tree online. How to tell if its
"fact" or "historical fiction."

Tues April 3rd, 2007: Cemetery records on the internet... Avoid wandering
through graveyards. Cemetery transcriptions and tombstone images.

All class participants are encouraged to bring some of their own genealogy
to use for examples in searching the internet. The live internet images
will be projected overhead for all to see.
