As I will be out of town from Apr 1 to 8th, I'm announcing the DNA Interest Group meeting now and upon my return. If you are on the NW ISOGG email list, you will hear about it two more times.

This meeting will last 2 full hours as there is much to cover. In particular:

At this quarterly meeting of the DNA Interest Group we will cover the following and as such, the time will go to 3 pm:

1. A short version of the basics of DNA testing, including the differences in Y-DNA, mtDNA and autosomal DNA and how it can help your genealogy.

2. A very brief report from the Who Do You Think You Are? Live conference in London last February

3. Tim Janzen will cover phasing and mapping of autosomal data for Family Finder testers.

4. Provide time for your questions.
